Program (ESOP)
for Windows
Program Objective
Quick and efficient design of an ESP installation.
Program Description
The ESOP program is a design as well as simulation tool to model an ESP installation.
- Heat balance from perforations, across motor, intake, and pump and through tubing to surface.
- Viscosity performance of stages and tubing flow
- Multiple multiphase flow options
- Shroud pressure drop options
- Gas separator performance (latest)
- Calculation of down hole low and high manufacturer recommended flow limits
- Hydraulic tables
- Input of tabular PVT data manually or from existing PVT package
- Output on IPR plots at perforations or at pump intake
- Performance of surface electrical facilities associated with ESP power
- Calculation of rate of time that gas goes into solution as production proceeds through the pump
- IPR options: Separate water/oil curves, combined, straight line to bubble point, horizontal well IPR, etc.
