We offer training in artificial
lift technologies, namely gas lift, rod pumping and electrical submersible
pumping. We also offer training in multiphase flow, surface facilities
optimization, wax deposition and asphaltene removal.
Training courses are usually 5 days
long, and are taught at your facilities. Courses cover both fundamentals
and advanced topics; or they can be customized for your precise needs.
These courses provide participants
with a solid understanding of petroleum technology from basic principles
to state-of-the-art computer methods. Techniques which are immediately
applicable to the relevant analytical models, together with the applicable
methods, solution of problems, cost reduction and production increases
are all emphasized. The courses use the Nodal Analysis systems approach
to determine the effects of each component on the performance of the well,
thus permitting optimum selection of components and operating conditions.
Problem-solving sessions are evenly dispersed throughout the course to
emphasize the principles covered, as well as to develop the skills necessary
for effective engineering design. Usuallya special session is held in which
the participants are actively involved in running computer simulation and
design programs. These programs are available for purchase, but are not
included as part of the course material.
